Self-storage: a multitude of sizes from 1 m² to 50 m² or more, with a height of around 3 m.
Located on the first floor or upper floors (accessible by freight elevators), these spaces are ideal for private and professional customers, whatever the rental period.
Access 7 days a week.

Warehouses: a multitude of sizes from 20 m² to 2,000 m² or more, with heights ranging from 3 m to 6 meters.
Located on the ground floor and directly accessible by car or truck, these spaces are ideally suited to professionals, with flexible rental terms starting from 1 month.

Our offices: some of our sites have business centers at your disposal.
Private offices range from 10 m² to 150 m², and offer you all the comforts you need to run your business (common areas, sanitary facilities, internet and telephony…).

How high are storage units?

All our self-storage boxes are around 3 meters high.

Our storage halls can offer heights from 4 to 6 meters or more.

Are my goods stored in good conditions?

Absolutely, all our boxes are guaranteed watertight, pest-proof and frost-proof.

How do I choose the size of my storage unit?

You draw up a list of the items you’d like to store and contact our advisors, who will be happy to advise you.

How much does a Lock'O storage unit cost?

LOCK’O’ s rates are the most competitive on the market, because we redevelop industrial sites to today’s standards.
Rates vary according to size, from 1 m² to 2,000 m².

Safety at Lock’O

What is Lock'O's level of security?

LOCK’O is the Belgian specialist in secure storage.
All our storage sites are equipped with ideally placed surveillance cameras.
They record activity in our buildings 24 hours a day.

All our storage spaces are built in concrete, not sheet metal like most storage companies, ensuring maximum security!
Every customer has an access code that can be used to open the gate and entrance to the site from their mobile phone.
This code is used to enter the Lock’O premises and access the area in which the storage unit is located.

Only people occupying a storage unit in this area have access to it.
Each customer also has his or her own secure key to the storage unit.

Who can access my box?

It’s up to you: all you have to do is enter your access code for the gate and the secure key box on the wall of your box.

You place the key securely in the box, and only those to whom you have given the code will be able to obtain the key.
You can change the code whenever you like.

Please note: the person who signed the contract remains responsible for any damage to the buildings or to other people’s belongings.

Is it easy to change box?

No problem! If your needs change, you can always move to another suitable space.
Just ask your LOCK’O site manager.

Access and opening hours

How do I access my storage unit?

When you take possession of your box, the LOCK’O site manager will provide you with a personal access code.

This code identifies you when you enter the building in the area where your storage space is located.
You also receive a secure key to access your storage unit.

What are Lock'O's opening hours?

As a customer, you have free access 24/7 to your storage space or office.

How do I load/unload my belongings in a cubicle?

All LOCK’O storage sites have parking areas for on-site parking, in front of the unit or nearby.

At most of our sites, you can also drive your car or truck right in front of your cubicle to facilitate loading and unloading.

Most sites are equipped with shared unloading docks, or individual docks for certain large warehouses.
Parking spaces for large removal trucks are also provided.

For storage units located on the upper floors, you have access to elevators and elevators, as well as carts, hand trucks and even elevators in some locations.

What handling equipment is available at Lock'O?

All our storage sites are equipped with carts and pallet trucks, which you can use free of charge to facilitate loading and unloading.

Some sites have forklift trucks or unloading docks.
The access corridors in our buildings are wide, with practical loading bays.

Signing of a contract for the use of Lock’O space

What documents do I need to provide to rent a locker at Lock'O?

Storage space for individuals: valid ID (identity card, passport or driving license).

Professional storage space: proof of company membership (e.g. business card) and valid ID.

How much is the guarantee for renting a locker at Lock'O?

2 months rental guarantee required.
The guarantee is returned within 3 weeks of the end of the contract.

Is there a maximum rental period for self-storage?

No. LOCK’O imposes no maximum rental period.
You can rent a storage unit, warehouse or office space on a monthly basis.

What payment methods does Lock'O accept?

LOCK’O accepts bank transfers, cash, debit cards and credit cards (Mastercard and Visa).
For your peace of mind, we recommend direct debit – quick and easy.

Does Lock'O charge an administration fee?

No, LOCK’O does not charge any file opening fees!

Are there any additional costs associated with renting a storage unit?

Self-storage insurance: for your own good, the goods you store at LOCK’O must be covered by insurance.

In order to insure the contents of your storage space, please inform your insurance company of the address of the Lock’O site where your belongings will be stored, so that they can be covered for water damage, fire and theft.

Is renting a Lock'O storage unit subject to VAT?

Yes, the price quoted for your storage unit includes VAT.

Cancelling a self-storage contract

Is there a notice period at the end of a self-storage unit rental?

Yes, you must give two weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel your contract with LOCK’O.

How do I cancel a self-storage rental contract?

You must give us written notice (by e-mail, post, fax or at your LOCK’O storage site).

Date this notice and clearly indicate your name and the number of your storage unit.
Please note: your notice must reach us at least two weeks before the effective date of your departure.

Are stored goods insured at Lock'O?

The goods you store must be covered by insurance.
Please let your insurance company know the address of the Lock’O site where your goods will be stored, so that they can be covered for water damage, fire and theft.

How do I insure self-storage items?

Goods stored in a self-storage unit must be insured:

We recommend that you transfer your existing insurance policy by notifying your company of the new storage address at Lock’O, or take out insurance with your insurance company if these are not already covered.

How much does self-storage insurance cost?

The exact amount will depend on the insured value of the goods stored in your storage unit.

Questions about renting professional storage or office space

How do I rent a storage or office space at Lock'O?

Contact the Lock’O site manager of your choice by phone, email or by calling 0800 16 590 free of charge.
Make an appointment at the chosen site with the necessary documents (valid ID card, proof of company membership, full billing details).

What documents do I need to contract a professional storage unit?

We need the following documents:

Proof of company membership (e.g. business card) and valid ID
Full billing details
Bank details for setting up direct debits

How do you choose the storage space you need?

Contact the LOCK’O site manager of your choice, or call 0800 16 590 free of charge.

Do suppliers have access to my company's storage space?

You decide.
You can authorize your suppliers to access the storage space you rent from LOCK’O.

This means you don’t have to go anywhere for each delivery.
All you need to do is enter your GSM access code for the gate and the secure key box on the wall of your box.

You can change the code whenever you like.

What is the minimum rental period at Lock'O?

At LOCK’O, you can rent a storage unit for at least one month.
As soon as the contract is signed, you can start storing your belongings.

Is there a notice period at the end of the contract?

Yes, in all cases you must give two weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel your contract with LOCK’O.
Special conditions may apply to large, specially equipped warehouses.

How do I cancel a Lock'O contract?

You must give us at least 15 days’ written notice (by e-mail, post, fax or at your LOCK’O storage site).

If your office or warehouse rental contract is subject to special conditions, please refer to the terms of this specific contract.

How does Lock'O bill for storage space?

Depending on the contract, you can choose to pay your bills by monthly or annual direct debit.

How much is the warranty?

Lock’O requires a security deposit equivalent to 2 months’ royalties.
This is returned within 3 weeks of the end of the contract.

Is the provision of a storage unit or office subject to VAT?

Yes, at the rate of 21%, as this is a service.
